Stupid Demands from Facebook Users
Why do people demand you do things they already know you do not do? On my Facebook, I had a user message me and tell me they wanted me to draw them a sexy scene with animals. They included that they knew I only drew humans and that I chose not to draw sexy stuff SUCH AS SEX, but that I had to do it anyway. FFFF hellz no. They followed it up with the date I had to have it done by (one day later o.0) and that they were not going to pay for it. They also insisted that I did not watermark it or include a signature. WTF? That is NOT (for those who don't know) how to approach an artist and ask for them to do work for you. I lol'd that user into my blocklist on Facebook. And I will do the same if they come to me on deviantART. Unbelievable arrogance on their part to think that everyone else has to PAY for me to do art for them, but they are so special that they don't have to pay and can make whatever demands they want. Whatevs. Idiot... For making demands (#1 stupid thing) and then making demands of things I DO NOT DO (#2 stupid thing). I don't even do animals having sex if someone pays me. I don't do animals NOT having sex if someone pays me. So why the *bleep* does this idiot think I will do it for free? Perhaps the next request will be for me to build a rocket ship for someone to go to the moon. *nods*

Add to that, a friend of mine on Facebook got a request from a person who claims their sister *just* died and had rainbow hair with one purple and one yellow eye. They then said they can't pay for it and then thanks for doing them an art of their dead sister. Really? Even if that is an OC, the last thing on anyone's mind when a family member dies is to have an artist make a cartoon rendition of them. People are so damn selfish.

Hotlinking and Art Theft
And the final rant is about people hotlinking. A website has hotlinked pretty much my entire gallery and favorites. dramakoreaterbaru is hotlinking tons of artists on deviantART. TONS. You may want to check and see if your work is there too. Just look up your username. They are too lazy to change the metadata. I have made a DMCA abuse report to the domain registrant, SoftLayer Technologies Inc (abuse@softlayer.com - 214-442-0601 which does business in Dallas TX). This site has WhoIS protection so you can't find any information on the website administrator which is a pain (plus they don't have ANY contact information on their fakey-hotlinking-POS website). So if the webadmin for the site doesn't respond within 72 hours to their domain registrant, then their WhoIS protection is revoked and their personal information becomes public. They have one day left to respond to me and SoftLayer. I am hoping the whole site just comes down. I hate it when people repost my work © to them/their website, even if my signature, watermark and webaddress are still intact. It is just wrong, rude and selfish.

So, I decided to just start randomly looking up usernames on the website that is hotlinking. Pretty much all the deviantART staff are listed with their galleries too along with pretty much all of my friends (since this site farms favorites too). Pain in the NECK!

Further assistance for people. If you are curious to see the reports I filed, you can see them here... A cease and desist letter and the DMCA takedown request. Also, to note, a couple people have come to me saying that this site is a search engine. It is not. Please read my reply here to understand why. Also, the registrant did not respond within 72 hours, so their protection has been disabled and you can now see who they are and get their direct contact information. I finally managed to get the first of two secret santa gifts done. I am going to work on the second one this weekend and hopefully get it done. After that, I need to get an art trade done and a contest prize done. Plus the next issue of NOMsense needs to be worked on. It is just so hard to motivate myself. It is one thing being tired and exhausted from being pregnant, but I am off my meds now and getting rather depressed which is only adding to the fatigue and making it so hard to do anything. My house is a disaster. Someone should call FEMA. I need them lol. The prenatal vitamins are helping with the pregnancy side of the fatigue (not a lot, but hey, I'll take what I can get at this point). I can only hope I can stay on task the next few days and pump out a few things before Christmas Day. Then I am taking Christmas Day off! Off from work, the internet, art, life, all of it. It will be nice to just relax with the family and gorge on turkey, mashed potatoes and cookies!
